I woke this morning genuinely excited to start chemo! Of course, I am a little anxious, but also a lot ready to get going & send the Chunk packing. Jerk face has had a nice comfy home inside me long enough! I’m so thankful for the time I’ve had to prepare for this & for the peace that God has given me.
I have an appointment with my oncologist at 10A then chemo should start around 11:30A. It should last 3-4 hours. Clark & my Dad will be with me.
- Chemo would be effective
- Minimal side effects, particularly for protection from heart damage
- Peace for me & for my fam
- Wisdom & discernment for my Drs & the team treating me
- That I can be a blessing to others & that God will be glorified
So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. 2 Cor 4:18 (NLT)
