I’ll return to MD Anderson tomorrow afternoon for stereotactic radiosurgery (precise, high dose radiation) to the spots recently found on my right ilium and T10 vertebrae. It should take a few hours. I might even get a decent nap in. 🙂
I’ll have another PET scan at the end of November. It’s unlikely that scan will be able to confirm that these 2 spots have resolved, but it will be able to tell us if there’s anything new (boo hiss!) and if the spot on L4 that was treated in late July has resolved (though, we’re already fairly optimistic about this as the fact that I no longer have pain in that area is a pretty good indicator that the treatment worked).
We appreciate your prayers & support! Also, I’d like to thank everyone who has signed the petition I wrote about in my previous post and the over 100 people who have contributed to the Boot Walk on my behalf! Y’all know how to make a girl feel loved!
