Radiation is all done! I rang the bell on Monday & we celebrated with a little breakfast in the waiting room. I’m so thankful to have reached this milestone! Here’s a little video IMG_8208
I have a PET scan & MRI coming up, Mar 1 & 8, please be praying that there is nothing new to be revealed on the scans and that the mets remain stable (or gone is just fine, too!) They plan to treat the 2 spots where the disease has metastasized with 3 rounds of very precise, high-dose radiation on the afternoons of Mar 21, 22 & 23! Originally, the treatment was going to take place in April, but it occurred to me that I’d really like to be done with treatment by my birthday… I had a couple of friends praying over it with me. The day after I asked if the treatment could take place in March the dates showed up on my calendar & I was thrilled to see how God had answered our prayers.
Again, thank you all for your ceaseless support and prayers. You have lived out Ecc 4:9-12 for us. “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor; if either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
